Front End Designer in SYDNEY, New South Wales

Oneflare is currently looking for a junior front end developer/designer to help grow our expanding local services marketplace. If you’ve ever wanted to jump ship to a disruptive startup that has a CORE focus on UX then this is it!
As a member of our development team, you’ll take an active role in the development of new features, redesigns and overall enhancements to our (very large) Ruby on Rails powered application.
Our Philosophy
A problem many sites face is bottom-up design direction. Developers have implemented the system in a certain way and therefore the easiest and most cost-effective method of implementing designs is to follow the system’s implementation. But good design is ensuring the user’s experience is the easiest; not the developers’.
Ideally you are familiar with
- HTML/CSS
- Adobe Suite
- An eye for good user experience
- Javascript (preferred but not essential)
- Ruby On Rails framework (preferrered but not essential)
